omg, turn some of the stuff off. there are lots of features of the palm pre, i use the pre all the time, listen to pandora all day and send and recieve close to a hundred texts all day, and have it always on vibrate and no ringer. my battery lasts usually all day and most of the night, if i go one night without charging it its at between 10-15% in the am. also check out precentral they have apps to do things like turn the brightness way down (saves a lot of battery) app is called brightness unlinked. also make sure you have all the updates. sounds like you got a lemon / apple ;)

I've had the Palm Pre' since the beginning of November and have had it replaced............... TWICE!! I am going to the sprint store today to demand a different phone because this one is failing to!! The first two started with the rear speaker blowing out. the second one also started shutting off when you closed it. This third one started out with the camera not working two weeks ago, and now will NOT charge. Either the car charger or the home charger do nothing!! they wont even bring it off of 0%!
Dont get me wrong, it is a great phone when its working. But it is the most unreliable phone i have EVER had.

Just venting, but do your research before buying!!

I truly agree with you , the battery life and some oter features are so clumsy in Palm Pre

On websites with small text entry fields, especially ones that come pre-filled in, it’s all but impossible to edit them. This was trivial on the Blackberry
EDIT: Yes, I know about holding the orange button and scrolling, but this doesn’t work on small text entry boxes. You have to move your finger within the box (which is only sometimes 2 characters wide) instead of being able to slide it anywhere on the screen
