Thus, I’ll be refocusing Think Gene from general genetic biology science and to the medical application of genetics and technology in health care. <-- I like this shift. I'm a regular citizen who's just concerned about our health care industry, business-wise and biology-wise. Reading posts that marries both, like you are doing now, are easier to relate to for me.

do you really see an increase in products and decrease in marketing as a sign of change, or is it simply a consequence of a consolidated network of clients?

Startups grow into companies and become less exciting. I have found that the best way to keep a startup like excitement going is to work in a research center. There a good principal investigations ships out grant proposals that gets grants .... it is like several startups going at once with a new one every other year. Something always interesting going on and to participate in. Robots always need programming to add/change features. Data bases and web interfaces need to be built and revised and it goes on ... until the PI dies.
